Behind every brand we build is a group chat full of memes, voice notes, and “Omg what if we…” ideas. We’re strategists, creators, dog people, book nerds, and coffee fanatics. Together, we make the kind of work that’s smart, beautiful, and never boring.
I’m Saskia — founder, strategist, brand whisperer, and occasional chaos coordinator behind Lighthouse. I’ve spent years obsessing over how brands feel, not just how they look. Strong stories and bold glow-ups? That’s my sweet spot.
I started Lighthouse to build a business that values life over work — a fully remote, faith-driven space where I could create with purpose, work from home, and homeschool my son, Noah (my greatest teacher in patience and perspective).
I live for strong coffee, open skies, and fresh ideas — usually mid-crochet, lino print, or a Pinterest project I’ve taken way too seriously. I also have ADHD, which means I speak in metaphors, send panicked voice notes, and have an amazing team that keeps me grounded while running full speed toward big ideas.
I kick things off by digging into the brief, reading between the lines, and figuring out what’s really needed. Sometimes this happens with a notebook. Sometimes it happens while chasing Willow and Freydis around the garden.
This is where I doom scroll (for creative purposes), collect too many screenshots, and pretend it’s all part of the strategy. I deep-dive into the market, the audience, and what makes your brand different.
I let ideas percolate — in the shower, in voice notes to myself, or mid-chapter of a book. I sketch, scribble, and usually land on 2–3 concepts I’m fully obsessed with. (One of them always comes at the weirdest hour.)
Now it’s time to make the magic happen. I design, write, tweak, redesign, overthink, underthink, and then finally feel it click. This is my favourite part.
You get the goods. We talk it through. I refine, revise, and push it just a little further — until it doesn’t just look good, it feels right.
You go live. I celebrate with a cappuccino and probably cry at your “OMG I LOVE IT” message. Then it’s onto the next one.
Websites. Websites. Websites. But also a good grid!
favourite thing to design
My coffee, noise cancelling headphones and my dogs at my feet.

I will say “yes!” to a project purely because the idea is delicious — not because I have the time.
biggest creative redflag...
Using “brand research” as an excuse to scroll Instagram for an hour.
guilty pleasure...
Turn your 3am brain dump into a full-blown brand concept by sunrise.
Most likely to:
I can go from “I’m overwhelmed” to “I redesigned your website” in under 48 hours.
Weirdest flex...
Accidentally sending voice notes with too much honesty.

You’ll usually catch me mid-brainstorm, mid-meeting, or mid-design. I joined Lighthouse at the start of 2025, fresh out of uni and fully loaded with ideas, energy, and entirely too many colour palettes saved on Pinterest.
Born in Zim, raised in Zambia, and forever doing a double take when someone asks where I’m from — I’m all about people, purpose, and the kind of work that actually means something.
Whether I’m mapping out a strategy, dreaming up a campaign, or deep in the design zone with way too many tabs open, I’m in it — heart first, hands on, and always with the goal of making things better, bolder, and more beautifully aligned. Oh, and I do it all for the glory of God. Always always.
Keeping up with Saskia!
Just jokes, I love to break things down and start with the basics. I always find a solid, thorough foundation makes everything that comes after aligned, intentional and practical.
I take that blueprint, brainstorm excessively, grab the good ideas and quite literally run with them.
Having a solid plan makes me super confident in my creative direction and before I (or my clients) know it, I have created a final product.
All things Branding but I'm also a sucker for a perfected social media grid.
favourite thing to design
A step by step to do list and a coffee.

So many - I think in American English even though I literally learned UK English my whole life.
My 'Layers' on Illustrator are never named - it's between me and God.
I am a complete yes man even if I am busy because I get creative fomo and want to be involved.
biggest creative redflag...
When a client chooses a logo option that was my favourite.

Book a meeting just to catch up with you (and yes, talk strategy too).
Create a content plan in her head mid-run
Say “I’ll just tweak this one thing” then revamp the whole layout.
Ask “does this align with the strategy?” about a brunch menu.
Most likely to:
I once brainstormed so hard I forgot to eat lunch — twice.
I use folders inside folders inside folders (with colour codes, of course).
I could make a 5-part brand strategy from a random napkin sketch.
Weirdest flex...
Being more enthusiastic about a brand than the client is.

I’m a social media manager who thrives on turning chaos into content.
Organised, quietly dependable, and low-key obsessed with a well-timed post, I keep things running while clients eventually send me the info I asked for last week.
When I’m not wrangling captions and inboxes, I’m being a full-time dog mom and a surprisingly coordinated dancer — yes, even on stage (introverts, we contain multitudes).
I sit down, sip my tea, and summon the creative gods. I brainstorm, design, and craft magical posts — all tailored to your brand. Think "Monet meets Wi-Fi."
Using fancy tools and probably too many tabs, I schedule your posts so they appear like clockwork. Even when I’m asleep, your socials are alive and kicking.
I monitor your DMs, comments, mentions, and emoji reactions like a hawk with a smartphone.
This is the core of the process. I ask nicely:
"Hey, could you send me that promo info/photo/update/event deets?"
You forget.
I follow up.
You get busy.
I follow up again.
You say, “Oops, will do it now!”
I celebrate too early.
I follow up again.
(Repeat until post is born.)
Content goes out. People double tap. I reply, like, and keep the engagement train chugging. And just like that, we're back at Step 1 again — rinse, and repeat.
